Strategic Planning and Evaluation is a division of the Mecklenburg County Manager’s Office. The division is responsible for developing and managing the County’s corporate strategic business plan, coordinating with department directors on strategic planning, managing the annual Employee Climate Survey and assisting with other internal priorities throughout the organization.  

The Mecklenburg County Public Information Department provides news and information that keeps residents and employees informed about County initiatives, policies, programs, services and the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners. The department uses a variety of communication channels to help enhance transparency, increase civic engagement and to tell the Mecklenburg County story.

Points of Dispensing are community locations in which state and local agencies dispense medical countermeasures to prevent or treat adverse health effects of an intentional, accidental, or naturally occurring public health emergency.
