Ramsey Creek Beach will be closed Labor Day weekend due to elevated bacteria levels. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services tests water quality at the beach weekly.  We suspect the elevated bacteria is a result of the heavy rains from the remnants of Hurricane Idalia.

Mecklenburg County is requesting input on the FY2022-23 draft HUD Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

Public Health leaders are advising residents of a summer COVID-19 surge. Emergency department visits and hospitalizations due to COVID-19 infection and evidence of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19 illness) in wastewater have all been increasing since early July.
