The project will restore 2,500 Linear Feet of the McDowell Creek corridor from just above Westmoreland Road to the County Park property.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services will construct a floodplain and stream restoration project on approximately 5,600 linear feet of Kings Branch.

The Community Rating System (CRS) is a voluntary incentive program that recognizes and encourages community floodplain management practices that exceed the minimum requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Over 1,500 communities participate nationwide.

Services content must be added after a site is cloned and duplicated. 

Supports priority communities to address health inequities through public health education and culturally relevant resources. 

Focuses on reducing perinatal health disparities. A healthy pregnancy is one of the best ways to promote healthy families in Mecklenburg County.
