In response to the extreme winter weather and cold temperatures forecasted, Park and Recreation facilities and library branches will be closed on Saturday, Jan. 31 and Sunday, Feb. 1. Solid Waste recycling centers will be closed on Saturday, Jan. 31. In addition, activation of extreme weather protocols and expanded homeless shelter capacity will begin Friday, Jan. 30, at 4 p.m., and last at least until the morning of Monday, Feb. 2.
