Charlotte Works is the workforce development board for Mecklenburg County. This nonprofit connects job seekers and employers, and provides skills training and work opportunities for youth and adults. 

Mecklenburg County has identified behavioral health as a top priority for improving the wellbeing of residents. As part of this commitment, the County has invested significant funding to address gaps in behavioral health services not provided through federal, state or private resources.

The Emergency Program Aid is offered through churches and community agency referrals to eligible residents who are facing a hardship.
