MeckBetter Together is a campaign that aims to maximize the efforts of child and family caring agencies and the community to support families and address safety and wellbeing of children.

High-quality, free pre-k education for eligible four-year-old children in Mecklenburg County. 

Nutritious meals and activities for seniors age 60 years and older. Activities include opportunities for physical activity, meaningful socialization, arts, health literacy, and educational programs.

Weekly home-delivery of meals to seniors who are assessed to be “homebound” and cannot attend a congregate nutrition site.

Helps address the needs and access to services for older adults.

The Emergency Program Aid is offered through churches and community agency referrals to eligible residents who are facing a hardship.

Provides coordinated non-emergency medical and general public transportation to eligible residents in Mecklenburg County.

Provides job-driven, skills-based training that leads to meaningful employment for food stamps recipients. 

Programs providing support and subsidies for financial, food and nutrition and medical support.

Seasonal and year-round energy and utility support to help residents keep their services going.
