  1. Voter Registration Status and Voting Location

    Check your registration status and voting location by using the NCSBE Voter Search app.

  2. Request a Replacement Voter Card

    (You DO NOT need a voter card to vote!) 

    You must be a registered voter in Mecklenburg county to request a replacement voter card. If you are registering for the first time, a voter card will automatically be mailed out once your registration has been processed.

  3. Update or Cancel Your Voter Registration

    Update your Party Affiliation, Residential or Mailing Address, or Name on your voter registration. The civilian voter registration deadline (25 days before Election Day).

    ​Voting in elections is a great way to get involved, share your voice, and be active in your community. When voting, voters have many ways they may choose to cast their choice. Absentee voting provides an alternative to the traditional method of appearing in person and casting a ballot on election day.
