The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is a division of the Mecklenburg County Manager’s Office. The division supports the County manager and Board of County Commissioners in the development of the County’s annual operating budget and coordinates with community and business partners to develop service agreements for the County’s key initiatives.

The Mecklenburg County Public Information Department provides news and information that keeps residents and employees informed about County initiatives, policies, programs, services and the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners. The department uses a variety of communication channels to help enhance transparency, increase civic engagement and to tell the Mecklenburg County story.

The Department of Community Resources is one of four departments that make up the Mecklenburg County Health and Human Services Agency (HHS). It supports HHS departments by combining service delivery at the state-of-the-art Community Resource Center on Freedom Drive.
