County Leaders Attend NACo Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C.

Mecklenburg County leaders traveled to Washington, D.C., Feb. 21–24 to participate in the National Association of Counties (NACo) Legislative Conference. The conference brings together nearly 2,000 elected and appointed county leaders from across the country to focus on federal policy issues impacting local governments.

Due to anticipated ongoing community transmission, NCDHHS now recommends that clinicians consider early vaccination for infants 6 – 11 months of age residing or spending time in the Charlotte Metropolitan area, including Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Rowan and Union Counties.
