The public will take notice that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing on the question of designating as a historic landmark the property known as the “John Eli Brattain House” as set forth below to be conducted during the Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th day of September, 2024, via a virtual meeting format. The hearing will allow the public to comment on the potential historic landmark designation of the “John Eli Brattain House,” listed under Tax Parcel Identification Numbers 00701884 and 00701815 and including the interior and exterior of the building and the approximately 0.720 acres of land listed under Tax Parcel Identification Numbers 00701884 and 00701815 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office as of May 1, 2024. Said property is owned by 305 Main Holdings LLC and is located at 305 South Main Street and 220 Walnut Street in Davidson, North Carolina. Such designation would be pursuant to Chapter 160D, Article 9, as amended, of the General Statutes of North Carolina.
