Purpose of Meeting: The Committee will receive an update on proposed housing bonds from a representative of the City of Charlotte Housing & Neighborhood Services. The Committee will also hear an update on the McKinney-Vento program presented by a representative from Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools with Mecklenburg County staff available to answer questions. Lastly, the Intergovernmental Affairs Manager will provide an update on the timeline for development and approval of the legislative agenda. County Commissioners who are not members of the Committee can attend the meeting under Board Policy and therefore, there might be more than four Commissioners in attendance.
